TaeguTec has introduced the 3ED-K+ drill head for grey, nodular and malleable cast iron. In tests it gave 53% more tool life than the general-purpose P+ head.

Walter adds 100, 125 and 160mm bodies to its Xtra·tec® XT M5130 range. Cartridge versions go up to Ø315mm, and the smaller BC09 and BC12 inserts mean more teeth per diameter, higher material removal rates and lower insert costs.

OPEN MIND Technologies returns to MACH at the Birmingham NEC from 20 to 24 April on Stand 230 in Hall 17. Visitors will see the European premiere of hyperMILL® 2026 and the MACH debut of hyperMILL® INTELLIGENCE.
