Where we rely on legitimate interests, our interest is running and promoting a B2B PR business and delivering work for our clients. We have balanced this against your rights and consider it reasonable because the data is business-related and you would expect us to use it in this way.

We do not collect special category data (such as health, religion or ethnicity) and we ask that you do not send it to us.

5. Interviews and recordings

When we interview you for an article or case study, we will tell you before we record the call. Recordings are transcribed using a transcription service so that we can quote you accurately. Quotes attributed to you are shared with your employer or our client for approval before publication. Once an article is published, your name, job title and quotes may appear in print and online in trade publications we do not control.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only where needed, with:

  • our clients, when you are quoted in or involved with work for them;
  • trade publications and editors, when we issue press releases or articles;
  • trusted freelance writers or designers who help us deliver client work, under confidentiality obligations;
  • service providers who process data on our behalf, including Microsoft 365 (email and file storage), Google Workspace (file storage), Otter.ai (interview transcription), Xero (accounting), our website host and developer, Google Analytics, and our email marketing and payment providers where used;
  • our accountant, bank and professional advisers;
  • the police, HMRC, regulators or courts, where the law requires it.

Our service providers may only use your data on our instructions and must keep it secure.

7. International transfers

Some of our service providers store or process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we make sure the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified) or by the International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • ask us to delete your data;
