TaeguTec Strikes Gold With New Inserts

Market leading cutting tool manufacturer, TaeguTec has now introduced its brand new GOLDRUSH insert coating grade. The new grade has been developed using TaeguTec’s extensive cutting edge technology and expertise. The grade has been distinctly coated with a gold colouring that guarantees improved performance whilst enabling the end user to visually monitor the insert wear status.

The GOLDRUSH is now available for all TaeguTec insert ranges, including the T-Turn, T-Clamp, the Hole Making series and the T-Mill Series. For the T-Turn range of products, TaeguTec has developed a number of new grades with the GOLDRUSH insert coating. This includes the new TT8115, TT8125, TT8135, TT5100 and TT7100 for steel machining and the TT5080, TT9215, TT9225, TT9235 and TT9080 grades for stainless steel and super alloy machining.

This wealth of new CVD and PVD coated turning grades now enables TaeguTec customers to benefit from excellent surface finish on the workpiece, reduced cutting friction and minimized built-up edge on exotic materials and improved adhesion and insert chipping resistance on a diverse scale of machining parameters and material types.

For TaeguTec’s renowned T-Clamp range that caters for a diverse range of turning operations that includes turning, parting, grooving and profiling, the TaeguTec has developed four new GOLDRUSH grades, the TT9100 and TT9080 for machining steel and the new TT6300, TT6080 and TT9080 for cast iron. The new grades now offer a wider spectrum of wear resistance and toughness, thus making the range a truly universal series for all turning applications. Additionally, TaeguTec has introduced its new TT9080 and TT9300 GOLDRUSH grades to its hole making product line.

For the renowned T-Mill series of milling products, TaeguTec has developed six new GOLDRUSH grades for the machining of steel, alloy steels, stainless steel and cast iron. The new grades enable the end user to machine at higher speeds and feeds, thus drastically improving cycle times and productivity.
