The 13th Seoul International Machine Tool Show (SIMTOS 2008) was held at the KINTEX arena in Ilsan, Korea from April 8th to 13th with the crowds drawn to the TaeguTec stand and its impressive displays. With over 433 exhibiting companies there were more than seventy-six thousands visitors to the Korean manufacturing showpiece event. TaeguTec delivered its most advanced products with outrageous events and cocktails for visitors to the TaeguTec booth. The TaeguTec booth was co-habited by IMC Group members Iscar and Ingersoll. The event was an opportunity for TaeguTec to celebrate its 10 year anniversary since the company changed its name from Korea Tungsten in 1998. TaeguTec held a “Mask Changing” event that showed the TaeguTec logo transforming in a unique and special show for visitors. The Korean market leading cutting tool manufacturer delivered an event that customers are unlikely to forget from a show and product standpoint with the company satisfying enquiries from a wide range of customers. The exhibition was the first opportunity for the Asian market to see some of the exceptional new product developments from the TaeguTec stable. With the automotive, mould and die and heavy industries continually gaining momentum is South Korea, TaeguTec demonstrated its new T-Drill, milling and turning innovations.
