From 6-8th March, Premier Machine Tools will be holding an Open House to celebrate the opening of its new facility in Kildare, Ireland. As Ireland's leading supplier of machine tools and ancillary equipment, Premier has recently opened the new 3,500sq/ft site with a fully functional showroom, so it can now provide the country's manufacturers with a live demonstration area.
The new showroom will enable Premier to provide practical demonstrations and live trials of customers components on machine tools with the capacity for up to 5 machines at its new site. The company can now also offer enhanced support and training on products from its technology partners. At the Open House event, Premier will be supported by its principals with two CNC turning centres from Tornos UK, CMM equipment from Zeiss, projectors and vision systems from Baty, Willemin mill/turn centres, Amsonic component cleaning systems, Style turning centres and Seco cutting tools.
The Tornos Delta 38 and Gamma 20 CNC sliding head turning centres on show will demonstrate their capabilities with up to 39 tools and 15 driven tool posts. Complementing the Tornos machines will be the Style 510 and BT1500E teach NC turning centre and milling machine that are suited to lower Volume component production. For the machining of highly complex components, Premier will be demonstrating the Willemin-Macodel 8 Axis machining centre with turning capability all in one machine.
For processing components on the mentioned machine tools, Premier will be showing the latest innovations from Seco cutting tools with live demonstrations and seminars on its latest solid carbide range. For the measuring of parts, Premier will be showing the Zeiss Duramax CMM and the O-Inspect vision system for faster and more accurate measuring. These systems will be complemented by the Baty range of profile projectors and vision systems.
Discussing the new facility and the forthcoming Open House Event, Premier Machine Tools Managing Director, Mr Peter Dwyer comments: "The Open House Event will give us the opportunity to demonstrate to the Irish manufacturing sector that machine tools and production solutions can be sourced and demonstrated locally. The Open House event will give visitors the opportunity to see a new range of machine tools that have not been exhibited in Ireland before. This event shows that we are well positioned to service the demands of the local market with solutions and services that are unrivalled in Ireland. This will undoubtedly enable us to not only develop our business, but also that of our customers."
