ITC Exhibits at Southern Manufacturing 2012

At Southern Manufacturing 2012 Industrial Tooling Corp (ITC) will be introducing a number of new product developments from its Stand N67 at the FIVE, Farnborough event from the 15 to 16th February 2012.

ITC has worked strenuously with blue-chip manufacturers in a multitude of industry sectors to develop some truly groundbreaking new products. Amongst the new offerings is the 5021 Cyber Series of 5 flute harmonic end mills.

For difficult to reach surfaces and cavities in hard steels and aerospace alloys, the new 5021 Cyber Series range promotes high performance levels when processing difficult materials. The solid carbide 5021 is Cupro coated to enhance tool life and machining stability. The cutters demonstrate stability and rigidity that is credit to the unequal flute spacing that reduces machining noise and vibration. The right hand cutting and right hand helix range is available in diameters from 3 to 32mm with radius options from 0.5 to 4mm dependent upon diameter.

Complementing the 5021 Series at Southern Manufacturing 2012 will be the new 6051 Cyber Series End Mill range. The high performance 6 flute series of cutting tools has already made a significant impact on cycle times and tool life for many aerospace OEMs and F1 manufacturers. This long length, straight shank solid carbide cutter also has an unequal flute spacing and Cupro coating.

Alongside the 5021 and 6051 series will be the 3081 Series that has been launched to improve performance and productivity for aluminium machining. With a new flute geometry that offers exceptional surface finishes, productivity levels and swarf clearance, the new series can run at very high feed and speed rates. The series is available in diameters from 3 to 20mm with a length of cut from 12 to 40mm.

Also on show for the machining of aluminium will be the new 2161 Cyber Series and 2161 Radius Series of two flute end mills for aluminium. Manufactured from ultra wear resistant micro grain carbide, the 2161 Series has been designed with a new flute geometry that enables the 2161 Series to perform at astounding speed and feed rates to generate excellent performance levels. This range is available in 3 to 20mm diameters with identical shank sizes for optimal rigidity and performance.

Complimenting the 2161 will be the new 2201 Cyber Series of 2 flute long series solid carbide end mills. Also designed for aluminium machining, the 2201 has been developed for high performance machining with a long reach capability. Available in diameters from 3 to 20mm, the range has an overall length from 75 to 150mm with a length of cut from 15 to 60mm. This enables customers to machine cavities and difficult to reach surfaces whilst achieving high productivity levels.
